Guava Communications Project 2008

The Guava Producers Association embarked upon a major PR drive in 2008 as part of a marketing strategy to develop the industry by stimulating consumer demand for guavas and guava products. The results of the initial campaign were exceptional with 17 million opportunities created for consumers to read or listen to guava articles. Guava features appeared in 3.5 million magazines/newspapers.

The campaign highlighted the fact that consumers really enjoy guavas and guava products.

Marketing Development 2009

The marketing drive is to be intensified in 2009 with Public Relations activity, consumer promotion and in-store activity.
